MOTION NOTE: Orangatang’s race wheel. At 75mm these wheels carry a great amount of
roll speed, combine that with sharp square lips on both sides and you get a ton of grip. These wheels also have a very predictable slide, killing just the right amount of speed and leaving you with the perfect exit speed. With a big contact patch these things grip hard straight out of the box. Once they are too spent to race on they make an amazing freeride wheel. Since these are on the larger size you may need to slightly tighten your trucks or add a riser to your set up. Shop Note: We recommend 80a (Orange) for racing/ downhill. The 86a (Yellows) make amazing rain wheels. If you want a little bit quicker wheel or are unsure what to get try out the purples (83a).
The orangatang in-heats are the larger version of the 4-pres. They have a larger contact patch, which gives them more area to grip. An offset design with hard sharp edges for grip, thick lips for maintaining speed, and a rippled inner walls for progressive energy return through turns and when pumping.
